ÆTHR’s Manifesto

The automotive industry runs on inventory data.

Every website. Every ad. Every marketplace. Every merchandising tool. Every consumer experience.

Behind all of it is a constant stream of information describing what a dealer has to sell. And we've spent decades building increasingly sophisticated technology on top of it. But we haven't given enough attention to the foundation underneath it.

Inventory data passes through providers, platforms, feeds, APIs, exports, imports, transformations, and countless business rules before it ever reaches the consumer.

Along the way, things happen.

Fields disappear. Values change. Updates arrive late. Standards get interpreted differently. One system says one thing while another says something else.

Most of the time, nobody notices. Until something downstream breaks.

We believe the industry deserves a source it can trust.

Not another inventory feed. Not another system of record competing to own the data.

A trust layer for automotive inventory data. Infrastructure designed to ingest inventory from its source, understand it, validate it, normalize it, enrich it, and make it available wherever it needs to go.

That is the ÆTHR.

One vehicle. One standard. Everywhere.

We believe a vehicle should be represented accurately and consistently wherever it appears.

We believe OEMs should be able to establish standards across their networks and know they're being followed.

We believe dealers should be able to change information once and trust that the ecosystem around them can receive it.

We believe agencies shouldn't have to build their own infrastructure just to get dependable inventory data.

We believe technology companies should spend their time building remarkable products, not untangling feeds.

And we believe consumers should see accurate information regardless of where their shopping journey begins.

Trust shouldn't require blind faith. So ÆTHR is built around a different idea:

Inventory data should be observable. Its origin should be known. Its transformations should be understandable. Its quality should be measurable. Its movement should be visible. And when something changes, the systems depending on that data shouldn't have to wait hours to find out.

Because trustworthy data isn't simply accurate. It's accurate, explainable, and available when it matters.

We aren't trying to own the ecosystem. We want to make the ecosystem better.

ÆTHR is infrastructure. We make the data trustworthy so everyone else can build with confidence.

This is the standard we're building toward.

A world where automotive inventory data doesn't have to be questioned every time it moves between systems. Where discrepancies are discovered before consumers discover them. Where changes propagate in seconds instead of waiting for the next batch. Where new platforms can enter the market faster because the infrastructure already exists. Where every participant in the ecosystem can work from the same trusted understanding of a vehicle. And where the industry's most important digital experiences are built on infrastructure worthy of everything depending on it.

That's why we're building the ÆTHR.

The trust layer for automotive inventory data.
